loading old excel or word files in 365
Is there a way to load old excel or word files in new 365 purchased yesterday

Under normal circumstances you should be able to open old files without any problems at all. New versions of Excel, Word, PowerPoint all open the files created in earlier versions. I've had a few instances where really old (like two decades old) files have apparently become corrupted such that I've not be able to load them), but those experiences aside, I've not experienced any difficulties.
IF you are experiencing difficulties, come back with some more specifics...more detailed descriptions of what you've attempted, with what results. But a normal process of opening Excel (since this is the Excel board) and using File....Open.... should enable you to go to the folder/directory where your desired file is stored, select it, and open it. If that's NOT what you experience, let us know.
