This lab is intended as an introduction to Analyzing Data in Excel. In the previous labs we have discussed getting data into Excel and the Excel Data Model.
In this lab we will use a more advanced data model that is completed for us. This lab will focus on creation and usage of PivotCharts and Slicers, to create a dashboard in Excel.

I am looking for a formula to analyze a promotion we did last Xmas. For the 3 months previous to Xmas, we had the promo Buy 3/Get 1 free. After Xmas, we changed to Buy 2/Get 1 free, for another 3 months. I need a formula to find out what each promo mean in the total result of the shops sales, to decide the promo for this coming Xmas, if we should stick to Buy 3/Get 1 free or change to Buy 2/Get 1 free, before Xmas. What should be done is get the sales result and set that as a % of total sales. In addition get the number of times we gave the free one (combination) and compare that as a percentage of total units sold…
Thanks,
Lulu
