Index Match (I think)

Names are in column A, dates are in column B, and "yes" or "no" is in column C. I'm trying to figure out, how to create a list in column D, of names (from column A), between certain dates (from column B), equal to "yes" (from column C). If it makes a difference, I'm using google sheets.

    Hi,

     

    The easiest way to do that is to use the Filter.

    Filter the hire column with the criteria of Yes, then filter the date column using the custom auto filter between two dates.

    After this, you can copy the filtered data and paste them into another location.

    Please find that attached file to see that.

     

    But with formulas, it will be difficult!

    The function can be used is INDEX but with a combination of other functions in form of complicated array formula!
