I can very well understand that Mr. Hans Vogelaar does not want to interfere, even if I am sure that he knows the options for unlocking a file better than someone like me.
The basic rule is that instructions to unlock password-protected files should only be used on your own files.
Otherwise it could be possible that you will be prosecuted.
Therefore any help in this direction is avoided as far as possible.

On the other hand…
Basically, the use of password-protected Excel files (in my opinion) serves more to protect the user from accidentally deleting the formulas / content. And less that you shouldn't see what's hidden.
The worksheet can be protected with a maximum of approx. 2000 attempts, i.e. this is relatively quick with a small macro.
The protection for the VBA project can also be removed within 15 minutes (if one is good enough) if you can fill a common search engine.
Even if it can be used as standard AES128 / AES256 from the new Excel versions to encrypt password-protected files, it is still possible to bypass this.
