How to share object - icon - when coauthoring Excel workbook in Sharepoint?

I am trying to share inserted objects -- Word and .pdf documents -- when coauthoring an Excel workbook online.   However, the workbook sent as an Excel Online through Sharepoint commercial does not share the objects embedded on the original document.  Is there a workaround for this problem other than to email the attachments separately?
