How to count "Conditional formatting" cells by color in Excel 2007?

Please, any help is appreciated!

I've tried several times and this is not working properly.

Please see attache sample spreadsheet. I'm comparing two columns, using Conditional formatting to highlight repeated cells, and count how many highlighted cells are in the specified column. I tried several different VBA codes from  the internet, so far... I haven't found one that works on my case.
