How to change default view in excel in O365?

Working with online version of excel.

I can create and save views, but they are not persistent across sheets.

Is there a way to create views that are persistent across all sheets in a workbook?  Or....

Is there a way to change the 'Default' view settings?

Thanks in advance.

Sheet View in Excel Online is mainly to keep filtering and sorting of the data in the sheet independent for different users. Thus you can't apply created custom view to another sheet with another data. If only not to duplicate the sheet.

Customization of the Default view - not sure, but I'm doubt. Excel Online has very poor customization options.

To change default view in Excel, you need to go to the Excel Options to change its default setting.

    1. Enable Excel, and click Office button or File tab > Options.

    2. In the pop-up Excel Options dialog, find Default view for new sheets in right section, and choose the view you want to specify from the drop down list.

    3. Click OK to close the dialog. And when you create a new workbook, the default view will be changed to the new view you choose.

Note: The changing view only work in the new creating workbooks, the existing workbook will be kept in Normal view when you open them.
