Help with IF function

Riny_van_Eekelen Thanks, but it is not exactly what I am after. Let me step through it again.
Value 1 is a fixed value ($100,000)
Value 2 is also a fixed value (26%)
So using the table as a guide, Client X grew 26% which based on the table below earns him 2% of $100,000 ($2000). I need a formula to help me calculate the $2000 easily

Riny_van_Eekelen's VLOOKUP formula gives you the 2% result, so you can then just do that result x the cell with the value (e.g. 100,000)

Wyn Hopkins Thanks for this tip. I am also a novice with VLOOKUP. SO I can search a range of fields yes in order to assign the right remuneration percentage.
