formula that multiplies my ingredients up to 32 times?
In addition to responding to the request of my friend HansVogelaar ,if you want to continue with the Excel route, I'd like to add another thought altogether.: It's one thing to take 1 tbsp and multiply by 32 to get 32 tbsp, but it'd be a lot more meaningful to have that convert to cups. (For the record, 32 tbsp =2 cups).
Now, I did that with an app on my phone. The app is this one, available in the iPhone app store; probably in others as well if you use a different system,
Here's what the screen looks like that did the Tbsp to Cups conversion:
As you might surmise, you can do quick conversions of all sorts of types of measurements, including currency if you travel internationally.
I also cook, and frequently double or triple recipes for breads and other dishes. Frankly, I find it far easier to use the app than to use Excel, and I know how to use Excel. If it's a recipe you frequently use, print it out and do the calculations on an app like that, which automatically gives the results in whatever the other unit might be --- tbsp to cups or gallons, and so forth. Save a revised copy of the recipe with the measurements. It's an easy improvement on manual calculations.
