Formula help

HI

I'm trying to write a formula in which i need to say if cell A1 has a date 7 days after the date in cell B1 then turn cell A1 to the colour AMBER.

 

I done it before but for some reason I have a mental block :(

    Hi,

     

    You have an option to use conditional formatting to do that!

     

    Step 1:

    Select cell A1 and go to Home >> Styles >> Conditional Formatting >> Manage Rules >> New Rule >> Use a formula...

     

    Step 2:

    Put this formula in the formula box:

    =$B$1-$A$1>=7

    Step 3:

    Click the format button, and choose the format that you want, and then hit OKs.
