find and replace
Good Day. I want to remove the names and leave the code on this column. VAN073 - VANERON INCORPORATED LTD VAN082 - Westal Trust VAN455 - VAN DER WESTHUIZEN SARIE VAN500 - VAN DER...
Select the column.
On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns.
In Step 1, select Fixed, then click Next >.
In Step 2, drag a vertical line to immediately after the codes, and remove the other lines by double-clicking on them. Then click Next >.
In Step 3, click on the second column, then select 'Do not import column (skip).
Click Finish.
