How do I use Advanced Filter to copy a subset of data to another location keeping the column widths the same?

You can't in one step. Advanced Filter only extracts data. You'd need to Copy from the source data then Paste Special, then select Formats and Column Widths where you want the Advanced Filter to put the data.
