Fill 50% of a cell with color
Greetings! I want to fill 50% of a cell with color in Excel. How can I do it? Thanks in advance.
You can also use conditional formatting. using a second rule for the second color. here is a comparison:
Actually I am making a timeline. I need the Cell W9 (red marked) to be marked 50% from left to right.

Do you color the cells manually, or do you use conditional formatting?
I have colored the cells by Fill Color, manually. I have given the Excel file.
See the attached version. I created a small image and inserted it in the cell using Insert > Pictures > Place in Cell > This Device...
You can copy the cell to other cells if required.
