Failure to Print Excel document
If you're experiencing an issue with printing a specific Excel file and receiving an error message stating "file could not be printed due to an error on (your printer name) on e03," you can try the following solutions to resolve the problem:
- Restart your printer: Begin by restarting your printer to clear any temporary issues or errors it may be experiencing. Power off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then power it back on.
- Test printing in other programs: Open WordPad. In a new document, type “This is a test.” On the File menu, select Print. Select OK or Print to print the file. NikolinoDEYou didn't read the OP. If you had, you'd realize that points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 are all irrelevant because the user states that printing functions in other applications.
We have a random similar problem in our 365 environment. Users will try to print something (usually excel) and it breaks printing for all of Office (word, outlook, etc). Printing outside office works fine, but until office applications are completely crushed from memory, Office will throw that error. We usually have them restart.

Thank you for your feedback, but whether the solutions or points are irrelevant or not is up to each individual to decide and can be ignored. Suggestions can be discussed, but the best way to discuss things is to suggest a solution yourself.
Anyway, maybe someone will find a solution that solves this problem.
