In-place Archive not showing email Exchange 2019
In-place archive not showing on either Web OWA or on Desktop Outlook App Office Professional 2019 version.
I have set an archive on the Exchange Admin Centre it's been over 3 weeks but it is not showing the In-place archive inbox and sent item, I can see the In-place archive folder but no data like inbox or sent item. there was 48GB of inbox before I enabled archive for that user now it is showing only 12GB but he can't see any older than 2yrs emails on his inbox-sent item
if I check the In-place archive size from the admin centre it is only showing 556KB in size but he lost email from 48GB to 12BG which means 36BG is supposed to be on the In-place archive, weirdly, none of the emails are visible in the In-place archive folder.

Check your retention tag that is applied to the retention policy used for that user's archive, it sounds like you might have a "2 year delete" retention tag attached to the policy.
