excel view only file via onedrive - view settings

I have an Excel Workbook that is shared via OneDrive. The shared user is view-only. When the view-only user opens the workbook, various view settings such as column filters and worksheet positioning are not the same as the saved workbook, nor are they the same as the last time that user opened the workbook. Is there a way to force view-only access to user the display settings from the saved workbook? Is there a way to manage the view settings for the view-only user?
