Excel unable to connect to remote SQL Server

Morning,

I have an IPsec connection to a SQL Server with PFSense 2.4.5 and I'm trying to access the data from Excel 365.

I can do that from one subnet as the packets are going in correctly as TCP on port 1433, but the moment I swap to the other subnet, it's instead sending SAMBA packets. Both of these subnets have the same firewall rules on the PFsense, and the phase 2 connectors have been copied with the same settings.

I wanted to ask, is there a particular case where the request would be sent any differently? I don't have any traffic shapers in the network, so I'm puzzled as to why would the request end up entirely different?

Any help would be appreciated.
