Excel Table
Hi
i have entered my data into a range in a worksheet and converted the range as a table by using insert tab/tables group/table. now when i want to merge two cells in this table, i cannot do that;i mean, the Merge & Center in Alignment group is not active (the button is grey). how can i solve the problem?

This is not a problem!
Excel table doesn't allow you to merge cells, because the tables in Excel are not normal ranges, they simulate the tables in database applications.
To be able to merge cells, you have to convert the table to a normal range.
To do that, go to Table Tools >> Tools >> Convert to Range
