Excel Online - Slow screen drawing when scrolling page

Hi,

Is there anything that can be done to improve the general performance of Excel Online when dealing with spreadsheets with a reasonable amount of rows ~250.  The sheet will initially load up quite quickly but when scrolling down the page the redraw can take 5-10 seconds to show the next set of rows, there are about 30 columns.  The content is just data, no macros or anything complicated.  Browser is Edge on Win10 1803.
