Excel Formula help

Hello,

I've been working on a project for my high school's robotics team and I'm trying to do some form of predictive formula (I think?). I was able to figure out what I want on paper but I have no idea how it would look in excel. The written formula looks like: y(subscript n) = (known y's+constant)/(known x's+1). I can easily do a formula for one value at a time, but as more x's and y's become known, the cell number will have to change.

I hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated!

Not quite sure how the formula is supposed to work but maybe you could try using dynamic references in your formula.  I have attached a workbook with an example of a range that will extend or contract based on the number of X's or Y's that you know.  Please let me know if this is close to what you're looking for...  it would also be helpful to see the actual excel formula you're using.
