Excel for Mac 2016

Hi Lisa,
The Table Tools tab is a type of contextual tab that appears only if there is a https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-or-delete-an-excel-table-e81aa349-b006-4f8a-9806-5af9df0ac664 in the worksheet and the selected cell is within the boundaries of the table.
So if you select another cell outside the table boundaries, the Table Tools tab will disappear!
