Excel files received as attached files are always corrupt

Hi, 

I need some help. I use Microsoft Office professionnal Plus 2016

For the last 3 weeks, all the excel files I receive from known senders (and most of the times I sent the original file to be filled) appears to be corrupt. I can not open them. 

It use to work fine until few weeks ago. Does anybody have an idea on how to solve this problem? Maybe cancel a recent update from excel?

    If you save the file locally to the desktop, and then open it will it work?
