Excel crashing

Question

&nbsp;When I save an excel workbook selection as a webpage it crashes excel and recovers. This happens on more than 1 pc. In a few instances I am able to save it. But when I publish it to our site, the document is blank or refers to files missing. I am quite puzzled by Excels actions.&nbsp;This should be just a simple saved data document that opens with a hyperlink.&nbsp;Am I missing something?&nbsp;Also, I am using Office 2016 Excel&nbsp;Sincerely,Tony Waters

Hello,I can reproduce the crash in my Excel Version 1708 Build 8431.2046 (Monthly Channel, Targeted) on Windows 7. I did not test it on Windows 10. My steps were:Create a new file, add some data on an empty sheet and save itSelect File / Save As, select Webpage (*htm, *html) as format, select Selection/Sheet&nbsp;and then click on Publish or Save.This is what appears in my Event Viewer then:&nbsp;- &lt;Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"&gt;

Hi Mourad,&nbsp;I repeated that on Win10 (1703.15063.540), same Excel build - crashed if publish selection.

To follow up on this question guys. Here is what I have found out.

A few Microsoft updates on August 22nd have caused a few windows issues.

To fix my issue here: Program "Microsoft O365 Professional Plus"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this program and all 3 of my affected PC's.

Crisis has been averted.

Hi Tony,&nbsp;Thank you for sharing, good to know that works. Bit strange for me why simple full repair fixed the issue which was on all PC:s. Do you know if you returned on the same build after re-installation?
