Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and unfortunately it did not work. Additionally, after further investigation, I found that all files in the folder are corrupt. That includes PDF files as well as the Excel file.

Perhaps you could give a few more details that could help others help you. But if it's not specific to Excel, there may be some other site more suited. Nevertheless, let us know whether you.'re on a Mac or a Windows system; what was involved in setting up that vault, etc.
- CarlZApr 03, 2021Copper ContributorI have a desktop computer, running Windows 10 Home, version 2004, OS build 19041.867. I am using Office 365. I have been using OneDrive for a while. The information about Personal Vault came from OneDrive, and I went through the setup as provided. I had a folder in Documents on my computer called Finance, with a number of subfolders for different subjects, but had budget and tax information in yearly subfolders. 2018 and older were in a folder called Archive. 2019, 2020 and 2021 were directly under Finance. I just dragged the entire Finance folder to the Personal Vault. It started moving the files, but one file caused it to stall and the message was "still parsing the file". this continued for a long time - at least 10 minutes, and I decided to cancel the operation to delete that file. I cancelled, it said moving files back, and then it just sat there with the little blue circle going round and round. After about 20 minutes, I clicked on the window and it said not responding. I waited and clicked on the window again, and the screen went blue with the little blue circle still there. I waited for a long period, before finally shutting the computer down. After restart, I deleted the file that caused the initial problem, and dragged the Finance folder back to personal vault and this time it moved all files. However, there was still a Finance folder in Personal Vault, but not everything was there, and it created another Finance folder. I logged into the Personal Vault on the web, and moved folders around to get rid of duplicates. When I tried to open Budget 2021.xlsx, that's when I found the problem. After a lot of checking, it seems like the year subfolders under archive that were still in personal vault after the first file move have been corrupted, while the ones left in archive that were moved the second time are fine. Under the main folder Finance, only the 2019, 2020 and 2021 folders and their subfolders have files that are corrupt. Sorry for the long winded account of what happened, but this is the best that I can remember.
