Excel connected to Power BI service (analyse in excel function) does not save credentials

Hello fallows,

 

I have a problem with Excel files connected to Power BI service (analyse in excel function). Till Christmas is was working well. Once I created a file I set the credentials and next time it did not ask me to set credentials again, so I could refresh these files during night using Task Scheduler and Macro.

 

Before Christmas it has broke. Every time I open the file it askes for credentials (does not matter if it is opened manually or by macro). I have read that macro (VBA) cannot set the credentials, do the macro stops.

 

Could anybody help me please?

    To address the issue of Excel not saving credentials for Power BI data connections, ensure Excel and Power BI are up-to-date, manage credential storage, and reconfigure the Power BI connection. Make sure Excel’s trust settings allow external content, and verify that there are no issues with the Power BI service. If VBA limitations are problematic, consider manual credential management or explore PowerShell for automation.
