Excel chart on Android
Okay, two days and 41 views later... This should be a simple question. It's easy to do on a PC, why shouldn't it be easy to do on a phone?
If this is a problem, then I have to select a field of columns when I make the chart. This means I'll have data series that I will need to remove from the chart.
Can someone tell me how to do that?

The last board I posted this question on I later found out had not been supported by Microsoft for over a year. Can someone please confirm for me that this board actually has someone working it?

Okay. The answer is that there is neither a way to select two columns that are not adjacent, nor is there a way to remove a data set from a chart without completely removing the data series from the spreadsheet.
Clearly Microsoft should have put some more work into this before they made the app available. It's good for some things but when it comes to charts it seems to be pretty toothless.
