Excel Chart Help
Not sure how to accomplish what I am looking to do... I want take the attached (see Dropbox link below) workbook, and create charts for the different types of police calls. And filter by date. Two charts... I want to report how many "trespass", "MDOP", etc. there are. And then number of calls per month or quarter... on a different chart. I drew it out too. Can't figure out how to filter, then chart, etc.

In the attached version, I have added two pivot tables and pivot charts.
You should be able to tweak them to your liking.
Feel free to come back and ask more questions.

This is amazing! You're the best! One question... sheet 1 has the grand total as 339 calls, which is accurate, but on sheet 2 the grand total is only 179. How can I make them match?
I made the pivot table and chart on Sheet2 display only the top 10 items.
Click the drop-down arrow of the Row Labels cell and select 'Clear Filter from Title1".
You'll see all items then.
