Excel 365: copy/ paste into "find" search

Hi,

Running Excel as part of Office 365. I use the "find" search quite often for my job. Excel won't let me copy/ paste into the "find" search field. Very tedious to have to handkey individual eight digit style numbers instead of being able to simply copy and paste them into the search field. I was able to do this without any problem on all previous versions of Excel. Thanks for any help.
