Dates in Excel
I download files and the dates are displayed as 01/08/2022.
Using Formatting cell - Date does not help. My calculations does not pick this up as a date and do not work.
The format I require is 2022-08-01
I have a list of these and need to convert them.
Select such values in a column.
On the Data tab of the ribbon, select Text to Columns.
Click Delimited, then click Next >.
Clear the check boxes for the delimiters, then click Next >.
Select Date, then select DMY from the drop-down next to it.
Click Finish.
Apply the desired format.
Repeat for other columns if necessary.
