Conditionally modify text color

Hello,

I'm a novice with Excel and could need some help.  I'm trying to modify text depending on what it is.  There are three choices, W, L, D, that go into a row for the results of a game.  I can do it with one using conditional formatting, but no more than one.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Rick

  • Hi Rick.Lizotte

Select the (same) cells as the original conditional formatting you have applied and apply more conditional formats (e.g. using Highlight cell rules > Text that contains). Conditional formatting can overlap with various conditions.

Just make sure to change the format/colours so that you can differentiate them.

Let me know how you go?

    Cheers
