Conditional highlighting

Hi! I am trying to highlight cells with green if value if "yes" and red if value is "no". Can you please help me with it?

  • Hu vibhu,

     

    Select the cells in question.

    On the Home tab click the conditional formatting dropdown

    Select Highlight cell rules, Equal to

    Enter Yes and select one of the formats (or choose custom and create your own).

    Repeat this for No.

      Can you please also help in a with.. if C3>D3 then value should be the difference highlighted in red, else green.

        Suppose you calculate that difference in column E, then the steps are very similar:
        Highlight E
        Conditional formatting dropdown, Highlight cells rule, greater than, enter number 0 and select format
        Highlight E
        Conditional formatting dropdown, Highlight cells rule, Less than, enter number 0 and select format.
