Conditional formatting

I want to know the formula for automatically shading cells R/Y/G based of the % of threshold of data. Example, a store is only able to fulfill 100 orders a day, if they hit 50% of that it turns red; if it’s 51-84% it turns the cell yellow, and 85% and above it turns the cell green. How would I do that?

    Hi Marshall

We have a similar topic that had an answer to this but I can't seem to find the link to it.

I have mocked up your solution in the attached Excel document where you can change the store order number and see the cells respond to your criteria.

To see the conditional formatting rules I have set up, click onto the coloured cell, go to the Conditional Formatting menu > Manage Rules. Double click onto any of the rules to see how I have set it up.

Also note that I have made a simple formula that turns the store orders into a % value.

    =($D$2/100)

Have a play and see how you go. Let us know if this is the solution?

    Best wishes!

    Cheers

    Damien
