    Greetings!

Add dates (I,e.) number of days for next qualification, go to conditional formatting tab, choose Highlight Cell > Greater Than option > enter the end date (i.e. the date for next qualification, test), choose appropriate formatting. Repeat for each cell.

    Hope it helps,

    Thanks,

    Maureen,

The Conditional Formatting highlights data in a specific format based on a given condition so that the format will be applied when the condition is TRUE.

I think that what you mean is a formula to calculate the next requalify date, not the conditional formatting.

If so, the formula is so simple!

If the next requalify date is in column D, then start this formula in cell D2 and then drag it down:

    =C2+B2

Where C2 is the corresponding qualify date, and B2 is the corresponding days to requalify.

      Hi,

I am in the same position as Maureen. I am trying to have conditional format for a training matrix, where I have a column headed by the renewal frequency (say 2 year or 3 years, as the case might be). Beneath that are various dates that personnel performed the training. The goal is to have the color change to Yellow (if the expiry date is within 90 days from today), and Red (if the expiry date is passed). I tried a basic formula referring to the frequency multiply by 365 but nothing happens.
