Conditional Formatting vs VLOOKUP
Assistance please...
I am trying to decide if I should use VLOOKUP instead of conditional formatting for my spreadsheet. I would like "Agreement Expires: column searched for "Expired", "Pending" and "Good". If the "Expired" cells are older than today's date turn red color text. If the "Pending" cells are coming up to today's date by 7 days turn gold color text. If the "Good" cells are on schedule to today's date turn green text. Someone please direct me. Thank you, Paula Ann

from what you have described, you should go for conditional formatting.
if you do not know how to build those criteria's inside the conditional formatting, then i suggest you post a sample file.
