column A to be used for date want to enter info out of order and sort do i enter 2 numbers mo,day,
01/05/2019 will thus sort by month day and year
pafuller I'm not sure what the question is? What happens if you try to sort on column A?
- The dates do not sort in order. I do not have all the info at one time so I am attempting to enter the info as I get it with the end result the spreadsheet will be published in order of date
When using column A for dates the sort does not give me a chronical sort. The question: should dates be entered as 01/15/2019 giving two numbers for month and day. I do not have all of the information to build the spreadsheet at one time, so I input the infor as I get it and want the end result to be based on date entered in column A.Smitty Smith
