CHANGE OWNERSHIP OF A SPREADSHEET

Hi 

 

I'm about to handover a membership list which is held on a spreadsheet in Dropbox. I've shared the File with the new admin, and her name is appearing as 'Able to Edit' but she can't Edit the file. Do I need to change her to Owner? If so, how do I do that?

    Perhaps she should download the file and store it in her own drop-box?

      JKPieterse  I think we might need to try that. The complication is that the rest of the management committee need to be able to access the file. I might ask her to download it and then re-upload it to the group dropbox.  Thanks for your help.

I'm about to handover a membership list which is held on a spreadsheet in Dropbox. I've shared the File with the new admin, and her name is appearing as 'Able to Edit' but she can't Edit the file. Do I need to change her to Owner? If so, how do I do that?

JKPieterse  I think we might need to try that. The complication is that the rest of the management committee need to be able to access the file. I might ask her to download it and then re-upload it to the group dropbox.  Thanks for your help.
