Change date format
Hi, I need help. I import data into Excel and need to change the date according to my region and the format does not change. What could be the problem? Thanks for the answers.
With those 'odd' dates selected, press 'Text to columns' on the Data ribbon.
Step 1, change nothing, press Next
Step 2, change nothing, press Next
Step 3, select Date and MDY to indicated that the source data contains dates in the mm/dd/yyyy format
Now press Finish and the dates will now be in line with your local format settings.
