Cannot connect Excel2016 to PostgreSQL database

Hey there,

I am currently trying to connect my Excel 2016 (32-bit) instance to a postgreSQL database in order to import data from the database.

I have already installed the Npgsql-3.2.6.msi driver, which I downloaded on this site: https://github.com/npgsql/Npgsql/releases

 

Now if I go to Data->New Query->From Database->From PostgreSQL Database and type the Servername and the Database, it says that the connection could not be established because the target computer is denying the connection. How can I fix this problem? I know the Hostname, Database, User+PW are correct, I have already tested it in another program and have never encountered any problems with it. 

 

I am using Excel 2016 32-Bit.
