Android app switches to 'Working offline.'

Occasionally, while working on an Excel file in the Android app, I will notice that the document header/file name has 'Working offline' appended to it. When I open the document on my PC, my changes on Android are not being saved to OneDrive. Why would this occur and how do I get it back to saving automatically to OneDrive?
