3D MAPS and VBA. Controlling 3D MAPS

Is there any capability to control 3D Maps with VBA?  At least, refresh the map to plot an updated dataset?  I can auto copy a dataset into Excel via a macro, but is there a way to get 3D Maps to see it and replot automatically?
