Edge Chromium not following taskbar layout in GPO
I'm attempting to deploy the new edge browser, version 80.0.361.50 (Official build) (64-bit), in an enterprise situation, and Edge pins itself to the taskbar even though I have an .xml file that specifically designates that only two icons - IE11 and File Explorer should show on the taskbar. Previous to installing Edge Chromium I had no problems controlling the taskbar with my .xml file and the GPO that specifies where to find the file. Now I have IE11, File Explorer and Edge on the taskbar. Here's the code for my Start Menu and Taskbar and Edge is not specified anywhere in it, yet it remains pinned on the taskbar.
