Splash Screen

  1. It takes so much time to start up Edge on windows startup especially on low end Hardware
  2. It will be lovely to see the new beautiful edge icon on the splash screen
  3. It shows atleast the the browser is starting else it takes like 30-40 sec. to show up the frame

It will be awesome.

PS: May be a dark blue Background will be better

    Hi Maan2003 

    How much old are we talking about?

    Because I've got a 10 years old laptop, (4GB DDR3 RAM, i5 First gen CPU) and Edge starts slowly but so does any other programs on that laptop. it's running Windows 10 1909 though 🙂

      HotCakeX I am not complaining about the edge starting slow. But I am saying it would be a better experience to have a splash screen. The Edge (EdgeHTML) have almost the same startup time but due to splash screen it feels that it is quicker. My old laptop (4GB DDR3, i3 Fourth gen., Windows 10 2004)

        Oh yes gotcha, the splash screen that all UWP apps show immediately after launch
