Now added the ability to change the location for news content on the new tab page in Version 81.0.387.0

So it got the location correctly, it's just having problem refreshing the location and get the new one.
Try removing the other language from here: edge://settings/languages
and see if it fixes the NTP news languages, if not, try clearing browser data

That didn't work unfortunately.
In any case, I do not want the NTP language to be the language corresponding to my physical location, given that I frequently do not speak the local language when I travel. I would like to manually set it to e.g. English UK, like the rest of my machine.
The behaviour changed a few weeks ago. Before, Edge displayed everything in English, but maybe that was the only supported language, and now I am suffering from a localisation feature?
- HotCakeXOct 18, 2019MVPYes that could be also possible, try removing anything related to Czech language that you don't want to see. when you travel to another country the localization packages are not automatically installed on Windows.
