My Edge Bookmarks has gone
My Edge bookmarks had disappeared a few days ago. I've find the file "Bookmarks.bak" from "%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default", but it didn't have "Bookmarks.old" in it, so I CAN'T recov...

I'd like to know if your bookmarks are showing the running state on the sync internals page. To check, make sure you're logged into your MS Edge profile and enter edge://sync-internals in the address bar > Look for Bookmarks in the Type Info section. Is the State column showing "Running"? What's the number of total entries?

Hello - same trouble - there must have been some update - When I left in the morning the PC was normal, when I open it at 3.p.m - got a new wallpaper, new Edge -all my tabs were gone making me crazy till the time I discovered not only tabs are missing, also history is missing and all my bookmarks gone. There is no Bookmark file at all. not even with .old suffix.
I have never seen this in any browser on PC/Mac in at least 22years - HOW CAN UPDATE DELETE A DATA FILE? ON THE SAME WAY MY DOCUMENTS CAN START MISSING AFTER UPDATES?
ANY THOUGHTS how I can prevent this or get my 2 years bookmark back?

All sorted accommodation, DIY tutorials I willl never ever find 10% of it. I would never dream of update deleting file. I did try system restore - to no result - In the past I tried to disable windows updates, as with updates commonly sound has gone, but the updates comes back. Any thought how to prevent hist. I would like MS to get answer for something I paid for deleting my mental property it is unbelieve
