Middle-click to close tab non-functional in Dev/Canary builds

In the current dev and canary builds, middle-click does not work to close tabs. This functionality is present in the stable EdgeHTML version of Edge. Are other people experiencing this same behavior. Is this a priority to fix? It's rather essentially to browsing functionality.

(FWIW, middle-click on links to open in new tab does work properly.)
