Microsoft edge update error

Getting this error while checking for updates in Edge browser stable version.

 

An error occurred while checking for updates: We couldn't create that component (error code 3: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2068169&0x80004002 -- system level).

 

Version 85.0.564.70 (Official build) (64-bit)

    nix1507 To follow-up, I heard back from the team! First, they requested that you submit diagnostic data through our secure in-browser feedback tool, if you haven't yet. (Shift+Alt+I on a PC or "..." menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback.)

     

    And second, the fix should be easy! They're recommending that you simply reinstall Microsoft Edge (no need to uninstall firs.)

    1. Exit all browser sessions
    2. Go to https://nam06.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fedge&data=04%7C01%7Cv-fasera%40microsoft.com%7C30983d4806194eda5b6808d873336c66%7C72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7C1%7C0%7C637386012365237819%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=wWujJnuwfoc4aYbzfJMpHI8uzeRyRklR9So1F%2B9qpfg%3D&reserved=0 from a non-Edge browser 
    3. Download Microsoft Edge, run the installer
