Microsoft Edge problems
HELLO.... I need HELP!
I've been using a homegrown application for years which 'HAD' a drag and drop feature . Since the updated browser has taken over this function is no longer operational and is paramount to my work. I am hoping someone can help me enable this function.
I have worked with a 'MODERATOR' in the Microsoft Community who could not help. I have done the following:
Open Microsoft Edge.
Type in address bar Edge://flags and press Enter key.
Search for Touch initiated drag and drop Extension flag. Change it to Enabled.
Relaunch Edge and check.
This worked for about a week and is no longer functional
The the 'Moderator' gave me these instructions:
Step 1: Reset Edge
Open Microsoft Edge
Click on the three dots (…) from the right top corner.
Select Settings from the drop down and click on Reset settings from the left pane.
Select Restore settings to their default values.
Relaunch Edge and check
Did not work.
Then the 'Moderator' asked for this information:
Microsoft Edge Version 90.0.818.49 (Official build) (64-bit)
I connect to my organization via VPN
We use BITLocker for security
Enabled extensions are Ublock Origin
No reply for a week - then I received this:
However, for a better clarity on your concern, I would suggest you to post your query in TechCommunity forums, where we have experts and support professionals who are well equipped with the knowledge on Edge feature to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps....
Is there anyone that can help me - This is the primary application I use for my job and need it fixed.
