Links opens another tab instead of the installed app, installed via MS Edge (Dev,86.0.594.1)

I have Twitter installed via the MS Edge dev feature of the mentioned version, links to the profile page of a person should open in the installed app (Twitter) but the MS Edge (Dev) opens another tab...

    shaswattafs thanks for providing feedback on this feature. To clarify: where are you clicking on the link to the profile page? Are you in the app itself or clicking from email or ???
