Finding replies to posts!

How the heck does one find any replies to things one has posted? 

When a message appears stating so and so responded to a post I made, selecting the link brings

me to this forum, but from there I cannot find any replies.

One should be able to select the link and immediately be able to read the reply. Please list the

steps to follow to get to a reply. 

And since I cannot find replies, please email the answer to hsteiger@comcast.net. Otherwise

I will not be able to see it.

Obviously confused on my part. Hopefully not just dumb!
