Edge Workspaces sync BUGS
Hello First of all, I think that Workspaces in Edge is a very useful feature! Edge also has vertical tabs, which makes it the best tool for researchers using hundreds of tabs. I think other browsers...
Not a dev but I've reported Bug #2 twice now through the "Like Workspaces?" feedback mechanism with no follow-up. It happens to me multiple times a week. Just like you, it freezes at startup when opening a Workspace, and then will freeze if left open for a long period where it's syncing (Red Dot), and I have to End Task.
Attached is a screenshot of the process at the time this morning I did it. It's only using 12-15% CPU but it's constant.
Like you, some of my workspaces have 200+ tabs.
If we could just figure this out, it would be huge because I love Workspaces and Vertical Tabs. You've done way more research than me towards figuring it out, and yet this has not had any replies in nearly a year. It's still happening today.
